I have been meaning to get back to you about your wonderful product. We did purchase 50 of your headguards through a contact in the area. I only have a few left this fall. Our girls soccer team is wearing them, many of our boys finally got on board with the idea of protecting their heads, and many of our youth soccer teams have requested them. Due to cranial surgery complications at five months of age, my daughter is missing a forehead-frontal bone. A graft will be performed before five years of age to replace the missing bone. In the meantime, physicians prescribed a helmet to be worn at school to prevent injury from falling or being accidently hit. The location of the missing bone and the heat of a helmet made the helmet suggestion unacceptable. Unfortunately, Pre K would not permit her in class without protection. I am so glad I found the Forcefield Head bands which were approved to be worn in place of a helmet by her physicians and the schools.

Hi Luann,
We bought the headbands last year and I have to tell you that, no doubt, it prevented a concussion while my son was playing basketball. He had fallen when rebounding a ball and one of his teamates fell on him. You could hear his head hit the court and he slowly got up and then looked at me on the bench and gave me a thumbs up. Saved by the headband!

I was contacted by Luann Harkins regarding my purchase of Forcefield
Headbands. I am a 36 year old soccer player who has been playing soccer
since 5 yrs old through AYSO, club, high school and college soccer. I
still play coed and womens soccer. I was diagnosed with epilepsy in my
2nd year of college, possibly from multiple small concussions from
soccer. I was told to stop playing the sport I love, but I couldn't. I
use your headband to help protect my head and choose wisely with heading
the ball but mostly chest trap. Products like this can help protect our
children and I wish they had these when I was playing when I was younger
or no heading while growing up. Thank you for creating such a product.
Let me know if they have completed studies with the headband and
epilepsy (petit mal) and ALS.

Hi Luann,
My 5 year old soccer girl wears her red Forcefield headband for
every game. She likes the look and I like the extra protection it gives
her. Will definitely buy these headbands for my 2 younger twins when
they begin playing in a few years. Thank you.
